Austech 2009

There was a high level of interest in all of the parts, equipment and product demonstrations on the stand. Despite the feedback that numbers were down on historical levels we found there was no shortage of interest and enthusiasm from both existing and potentially new customers and also student groups seeking assistance to solve various machining and component challenges.

Two of the big attractions were the display of the new multi function searchlight partly built by R & I for their customer TRAKKACORP Pty Ltd and also the unveiling of the STAR 6 Speed Sequential TransAxle manufactured by Hardman Bros. Also on display and perhaps attracting even more general interest was Ken Horner's "replica" Vincent motorcycle
